Default 1964 Gto DECKLID molding clips

I have spent hours on the internet and phone tring to find the clips that attach the horizontal trim piece that goes on the deck lid on my 64. Can anyone help me locate the 8 clips Needed? Thanks

Take one to your local parts store and match it up. they will have it in stock as body shops still use these, or similar.
That is where i got mine. Had to use ordinary nuts though.

Try this thread. The NAPA clips are the closest I've found. You have to cut the studs on the clips to make them work. AMK has the acorn nuts. I have the large-headed 8-32 Phillips head screws for the end clips if you need them.

The part number for the stud clip is 4404877 -6 required- and the part number 4848478 is for the outer threaded clips- 2 required. These were one year only clips and no longer available. And being a one year only item from what I have seen they are not repopped in OEM style. Larger clips of the same basic design can be modified and used. Check the link Dick Boneske provided and it will tell you everything you need.
