Default 69 gto, 455, AC, TH400

I have made the difficult decision to sell my well-equipped crystal turquoise 1969 GTO. I haven’t been able to enjoy it as much as my other toys, and it’s time to find it a good home. I purchased it a few years ago after a well-done high-quality restoration and I have continued to maintain and improve upon small details as I’ve found them. You can drive and show it proudly as is now. Asking $36,500.

I recently blew up the non-original 455 engine, so it has a newly professional rebuilt and dyno’d 455 (360hp/490ft) street engine. I have put very few miles on the new engine. The rest of the driveline seems to be original and correct (TH400, non-posi, 3:23 gears for factory automatic AC car), and you are welcome and encouraged to verify if desired. Have piles of receipts from previous owner. PHS included.

No trades; cash or wire only. Car is in NE Ohio, near Youngstown, in dry storage. I cannot currently offer any delivery options. Car is listed in multiple places, first come, first serve. No warranty or guarantees expressed or implied, Please, serious inquiries only; I don’t have much free time. Message me here for cell.

Highlights:
• Hideaways (currently working per OEM specs but I have new spare actuator seals to go with the car because I thought one was a little slow)
• Working factory A/C retrofitted correctly to R134
• Factory Disc Brakes
• Hood Tach
• Fast Ratio Power Steering Box
Redline tires with plenty of life left
• Clock (converted to quartz)
• Factory Tilt
• Oversized R.A.R.E. Ram Air Manifolds connected to stock-ish exchaust.
• Seat brackets to move the seat back a few inches (I’m 6’6”). No mods to floor, can be removed.
• Upgraded radio with input and modern controls/remote but no dash modification
• Remote mirror
• Console with rebuilt 69 shifter (no slop, slap-shifts as it should)
• Endura nose professionally refinished to avoid checking or cracking

Details: I am hyper-critical and will try to be accurate with my ratings below:
• Body is a 9.5 out of ten, original Crystal Turquoise car re-done the same in base/clear. Some minor imperfections, good gloss. No major body work (no quarter sections, trunk pan replacements, etc)
• Driveline is a 9.5, solid, all works as it should
• Interior is a 9.5
• Front suspension has been rebuilt totally
• Many chassis parts jethot coated or powder coated during original restore
• Brakes totally redone with appropriate 69 “golf ball” hold off valve and distribution valve on frame
• All warning lights, gauges, signals, etc work properly.
• Has jack and spare tire in trunk (had OEM trunk floor liner which I removed because it trapped moisture)

Much more i'm sure i'm forgetting.

Please send any questions.

Note: 90, 275 miles believed to be actual. I purchased at 83,742 which was when restoration was completed and only have a few hundred miles on the new engine.
