Are the 64 and 65 front bumper brackets interchangeable? Yes I know the bumper is different but need to know if brackets are different and does 65 use the same reinforcement bar as 64?

They look very similar but I believe they are different. The reinforcement bar is the same.

The brackets (known as the Bar per Pontiac) and the braces are different between 64 and 65. Not the best pic but hopefully you can see the different part numbers. Open the pic and may need a magnifying glass. The 65 did NOT use a reinforcement brace/impact bar.
