Default #3 body mount

I thought I had purchased a complete body mount kit which even included the square core support cushions but as I recall #3 body mount is a bit different. The 1964 Tempest manual shows the special T-nut at #3 and opposite side, using the special mount. My kit contains the same cushion(s) for all 14. How have you guys overcome this? I also see that the hole in the #3 is smaller.

I use a bench grinder and grind the rubber down to fit the hole. Also shorten the bolt some. The manual shows the difference in length on the bolt, I don't remember at the moment. (CRS) I put the rubber on a bolt and let it spin as I'm touching the grinder wheel and it does a good job of getting it even.
