I don't think I've ever seen JWs made in January 1970. My JWs are dated early April and late May. The set on my 70 T/A is also late May.

I sold a set of late July 1970 built KNs recently.

Were these wheels built continuously, or in batches with a limited range of dates?

Apparently they were produced on different dates. Jan. 26/27 was one of them.
