sedan/wagon window sweeps?
Does anyone know of a source for 63 wagon window sweeps? They look like squeegees and attach to the door window frame outside the window. I need the ones for the back doors.
Thanks, James Q

Wagons are so easy!
If you find a source please let me know!
Ames might have them as a set. Sometimes they have things not listed in the catalog. They list a set for every different combination except a sedan/wagon. I saw a reproduction set on eBay once but didn’t buy it at the time. Wish I had now!

Have you tried Steele Rubber Products?

I called Steele, they do not have exact fit, but their sales rep said the product below can be cut to fit:
https://www.steelerubber.com/beltlin...rip-70-1121-61 I ordered a pair, so maybe I can make them work! Thanks again, James Q

Steele Prods. is pricey. I have not used them yet but they are at the top of my list when I get to that point, so let us know how it worked out. Ck out their videos too.

They did seem a bit pricey ( 2 x 3' lengths, about $100 total), but if they work they are worth it!

They are probablynthe same as Chevrolet but call and ask if not listed. I sent them samples of 1961 Safari and they made them and gave me a set for helping them out |

OK, I got the product from Steele and put them on, here was my procedure:
1. I took a small dremel and cut the two screws from the front and back of the old sweep. I took a piece of folded cardboard and placed it between the sweep and the window so as to not damage the glass. 2. I pushed the old sweep down and out of the door. 3. I used these parts and watched the video that is embedded in the part description - https://www.steelerubber.com/beltlin...rip-70-1121-61 They had to be cut to length, I used a small chop saw. 4. I sanded and cleaned the inside of the door frame where the sweeps mount. 5. I used the 3M windshield adhesive referenced in the video, this is a VERY messy product. The upside is it is easy to remove after it cures! 6. I let cure undisturbed for 24 hours and cleaned up the mess. The result is shown in the attached pic. Good luck, James Q
