Default Interior parts- 71 'birds with Custom interior

I didn't read all 50-some pages, and skipped the search. Heck I'm so forgetful, I might have already posted some time ago.

Custom (or is it deluxe?) interior parts for a 71 Firebird:
Door lower pockets ( I think 71 and 72 only)
Custom interior front seat back panel (only the standard interior is repop'd that I know of, yet the custom is common for several years (71-7?))
Interior rear window garnishes. OE plastic dry rots, and I haven't found a good ones.

Regards

KenB

I problably asked before but.... I'll do it again. LOL

The grill mouldings for 65, 66 and 67 GTOs.

And you Firebird guys.. find the the AH that stole the interior of my 79 Formula for me and after I have the guy convicted of Theft, I'll sell it you someone, or you can have a finders fee. Stolen from Dave's Auto Body in Rouses Point, NY back in 1994. Check with the Village Cops there and you should be able to see the report. No Joke.

Another person here for the '64 GTO hood;

I'll want one for my '64 Conv within the next couple years, and if they were to be reasonable enough, I'd like one for my wagon.

I can also say that I recently traded off a PHS documented GTO to my buddy that has long since been without it's hood. You know it'll have to get one someday.

64/65 rear patch panels that actually have the lip section too, or just the lip section alone. (talking about where the triim moulding would screw to)

How about seatbelt pieces for 74-81 F bodies? The covers that are on the retractor belt are almost always missing.

If it's already been brought up then consider this a "I second the notion post" I would love to see the following:

1970 Lemans, GTO, Tempest lower quarter panel patch panels.

I did not look through all 50+ pages.. So sorry if this has been addressed.
Replacement hoods for 77-80 Trans Am, the only ones I have found are fiberglass, which rrequire deleting the hinges and using pins.

Amber parking light lenses for 66 and 67 GTOs. They might no be correct but who really cares if they look as great as I think they would. Especially in the daytime. We've got the nights covered with them on with the headlights.

I just called Ames Engineering up in New Hampshire about amber lenses for 66 and 67 GTOs. They don't make them but I figure if there's enough interest that they might do it. So... how about anyone interested let me know here, Or you can call and put in a request. The more guys that call, with 66 and 67 GTOs, would sure put a bug in Steve Ames' ear that we want them. Their number is 603-676-4713

If they can make them of the 64 and 65s, then they should be able to for the 66 and 67s too. I'd do a poll but can't seeing the thread is alrady started. I will though in the 66 67 GTO Tech Forum.

PY, do you know where we can get Amber lenses or see about having them made?

Default Rear Seat Bracket

I mistakenly thought that the rear seat hold down brackets were included as part of the repro floor pan for 68 - 72 GTO, Lemans, Tempest when I ordered mine. Since it arrived without them I have been trying to find them to no avail. Could have sworn that I had seen them before, but now I can't find them in any of my catalogs..??

Do those lenses separate from the housing or are they glued on like some ? Buy some transparent Amber spray paint....spray lenses on the inside if you can. Just make sure the brand is compatible with plastic if the lenses are plastic.
Or you could get a small piece of amber window tint film and put that on the inside if the lens is smooth, I've seen many colors.

I've used transparent spray paint on my outdoor X-mas floodlights many times when the original color starts to peel off, works great.

I was going to try the transparent Amber spray on a clear pair of '70-'72 lenses for my '73 Firebird (there are no repo Amber lenses) but I found a used Amber pair before I ordered the clear ones so I never got the chance to try this.

...oh...and we need FULL 1/4's for the '70-'73 & '74 Firebirds.
