I have a 71 LeMans with the 350 engine. Could someone please tell me the correct color for the engine? I do not think it is the same blue as a GTO, and before I paint it the Pontiac #208 I'd like to be sure. Thanks

Pontiac engines fom 1971 to mid-'73 were painted a light blue color that tended to turn green with age and heat. This non-metallic blue color is slightly darker than the 1965 and earlier color. The TRW rattle can number for the correct color is 630208 and may be the same as your #208.

The #208 that you have is a plasticote color for 59-65 Pontiacs. It is commonly used for 71 and newer because the correct color is not available in spray cans.
