Dino, I also have a 71 LeMans with the stock front end although the optional nose was the GTO endura. 71 and 72 are the same. If you look at a 70, the fron of the hood is not the same. Jerry

since the bodies of a 70,71,72 are the same, you could put a 70 front end on your 71. But you can't mix and match fenders, bumpers & hoods. Mostly everything would have to be 70 only. To confirm above, most 71-72 GTO & LeMans Sport front end parts, while slightly different are interchangeble.

Yes, you can install GTO front clips from 1970, 1971, and 1972 on your 1971 LeMans. In addition to the other replys to your post, you will also have to change your radiator support to complete the switch.
The 1971/72 T-37, LeMans, and LeMans Sport radiator supports are shaped much differently from the GTOs of the same vintage. They will not work with the lowered GTO style bumper.

Likewise, if you were to install a '70 GTO front clip, you would need every piece off the '70 to be successful. That includes the hood, bumper, fenders, valence, radiator support, and all the misc. small hardware that goes with it.

I hope this helps, and good luck with your LeMans.
