Default Reverb owners chime in please

whats your wiring route?
I should have paid more attention to the routing when I removed it 40+ years ago

67 manual has about the same illustration.
I was more interested in the routing from dash board to floorboard to rear package tray.

The ribbon harness travels under the tar type insulation back along the pass side floor pan under the front seat area then under the stamped steel protective guard that climbs over the "hump" where the rear seat lower cushion mounts. The ribbon harness continues back & goes up the divider panel & plugs into the reverb unit that mounts under the package tray.

Pulled a working AM-FM & reverb out of a '66 4 door LeMans, that was late 90's. Remember carefully removing the LeMans front bench seat & lifting & scraping the tar type floor insulation panels in order to get the thin harness out intact. Bought quite a few pieces off that '66, it also had a perfect plastic AC fan shroud, hood hinges, nice pair of axles, & an perfect AC core support.

I forgot what the first was...

A note about these units.
Mine quit many moons ago so I sent it to someone that advertised in Hemmings.
I get it back and it wouldnt work.
Sent back to the guy nervous about shipping something this fragile.
Guy says it worked for him,so sent entire harness and unit back for him to retest for second time.
He again claimed it worked so I gave up on him and asked Padgett to look at it.
Padgett said it worked fine AFTER he opened the cover and separated the wire that was being pinched when the guy was putting the cover on.
It was amazing that it went thru that many trips across the USA and still worked.
If I was shipping one today I would remove cover and put some soft foam under the springs.
I see the NOS unit has a label to remove the shipping fixture that supports the springs in transit.

Just so happens that my car for the most part has no interior and has reverb.... Car has been off the road for a long time (and through who knows how many hands) but here is the way it sits right now.

Anything under the "Tar Paper" Insulation was Factory installed.

The kits were Dealer Items.
I prefer the dealer-install routing for ease of wire access should the need arise

I need to post a pic of my power trunk release kit so we can see recommended wiring routing.
My wiring harness in trunk was damaged and I need to replace it.

Can't help with that one.
IIRC '66 was a Pull cable early on and switched to the Vacuum in short order. Mine is the latter.

I would only add that I would keep all the wires running on the same path and highly recommend the Wire Protector.

All I can say is that what you see is the way it was routed when I got the car. What's missing, I don't know. But I can also say that it follows the path exactly as Roger described it above. It comes down to passenger foot well under tar paper then under the front seat to the rear passenger footwell then over the hump to the driver side rear foot well and then kind of haphazardly under the seat back to the trunk area where it plugs into the unit.
The length of wire seems excessive and that includes that single blue wire which I believe also winds up at the unit. It's not terminated at the moment.
I may pull the reverb unit out today. I'm in the process of tearing the car apart so it's going to come out anyway.

The only reverb systems I've ever handled were in old guitar amps but same thing...lots of springs.
