Do I see a red interior? That car will look sweet once you change the wheels and tires. I like it!

That is a great color combination. looks a lot like a car someone in Texas used to have.

Default last car on the boat..

I was traveling to the BOP Drags in Bremeton, WA.
Forgot to make reservations for the ride, waited in
the no reserve line. I made it last car on the boat.
BOP Drags were rained out. Go figure September in
Washington?

Default my 62

Hello mechanickeith, Yes it has light blue interior. 2spd. 4cyl. 1bbl. snuzzer. Ran just over 200 miles that saturday, used about a half tank of gas. No where near some of your road trip miles, but just as fun. Great car for $3000. I bought this intake just before my trip to the Salt Flats. What can you tell me about it. First one I've seen?
Paid $75. for it, pt. no.537785, also got the 4 jet carb. post that no later. Second picture is how one of the future engine combos will look in the LeMans.

That manifold is a 61 model year manifold. It is a dual plane with one primary & secondary carb barrels going to 2 cylinders the other 2 carb barrels go to the other 2 cylinders. The 62-63 4 barrel manifold is a single plane with all 4 barrels of the carb going to all cylinders. The 61 manifold will give more torque than the 62-63 manifold but the 62-63 makes more horse power. Here is a pic of a 62-63 manifold so you can compare. The Rochester 4GC carb is not the best to use on the 4 cyls. Try & find a Carter AFB in the 450 cfm range. Much better fuel milage & performance

I saw you coming up the road to Bremerton Raceway. I had the blue 66 GTO on the trailer. Bummer on the rain.

Drag racing. An adrenalin rush like no other. It felt like going into combat, tasting your first beer, and losing you virginity, all in about 8 seconds.

I'm a new Lemans owner. I did have a 66 Starchief Executive 2dr a while ago but thats a lil bigger.

Its a 1963 Lemans Convertible 4cyl automatic 25k on a rebuild. Its a 1bbl I would like to find a 4bbl intake for it though. I traded an 88 Mazda RX7 for it I'm sure you guys here would think thats a good deal lol I know I did. Unknown to me I also got a 1963 Tempest 2dr v8 in the deal too I have to go pick it up soon. It has no motor but it has the driveline in it.

Lol. I admit it was a nice car but not for me. Lil 88 RX7 convertible. I love this Lemans though. I did some research but not enough I guess I was a lil freaked out when I got under the back and saw a transmission. My plan now is to go to garages around town and ask em to check the tranny fluid and watch em under the hood confused

A couple more pics as of today.

The tires were weather cracked to sin so I threw on the wheels off my RX7 onto it ... Never really expected they would fit lol.

As of now I don't know what I'm going to do with the car. Going to cost allot more than I have to even get it safe enough to drive let alone a daily considering the back brakes are nowhere to be found and it needs both lower front balljoints.
