Default factory original 1968-1972 hood tach

factory original hood tach, no clue if it works or not. $200 plus flat rate of $10 shipping anywhere in the lower 48. Paypal. Don't hesitate if you want/need more detailed pictures.

It has a vacuum port thus its for 70 and up. Not correct for 68 or 69 cars but fits and works the same. Just saying..

From what I've noted over the last 30 years, the vacuum port design hood tach didn't originally show up til late in the '70 model year. In addition, long time Buick GSX restorers will note the Buick vac port design hood tach did not show up til '71 models were introduced.

Thanks I wasnt sure when just year. Also note the extra lead on the unit in question. Now that I have not seen???

The tach looks great, thanks for the additional pics. But, since my car is a 68 and didn’t originally come with a hood tach, and this appears to be a late 69 or later tach with a black face, I’m going to pass and let ddcrank have it for his 70 Judge. Thanks again, Kevin
