Whachamacallit
Quick question for the gurus. What’s the part called that goes in the frame rail on a column shift 73 TA that is plastic and the shift arm slides into it? Mine is oblong one the inside and causes a bit of slop. And where can one find a part? Below is a pic of the trans shift arm that it uses. Thanks for any help.

It's a bushing. Google 1377083.
You may be able to find it in your auto parts store under the Dorman HELP! section 74030. There should be a washer between the bushing and the spring. Looks like your picture has the washer in the wrong position.
