Does anyone know where to buy 2 1/2" split tail pipe tips and which ones they are that were options on our 74's. Also is anyone running an RPM Manifold without any alterations. I know they apparently are too high for the firebirds, but what about ours.

Thanks

As for your question about the RPM I believe that it sits too high to use without modifications. I used an original Torker a few years ago and it just barely cleared. I had to modify a scoop seal to make it work. The RPM is taller and in my opinion would not fit.

You can use the Performer RPM, as long as you have a '73-76 Trans Am scoop (same look but not functional, unless modified) to bolt on the air cleaner assembly.

Are the tips chrome or stainless? The 74 I just bought has the original ones still on it, but I have not had a chance to look at them real close yet.

I don't know about chrome plated or stainless. I don't have to have original which were 2" or 2 1/4". Was hoping maybe an aftermarket was shaped the same in a 2 1/2"?.
I like the Dudes scoop, but want to keep mine functional.
