76 Fire Am
This is my 76 Fire Am that I bought last year. 49k original miles. It is mostly a stage 2 car with some stage 3 parts. It will eventually need freshened up. I have also just acquired some rare HO Specialties Turbo Force parts that will be making their way onto the car. This car is a blast to drive. Herb really knew what he was doing when he put these parts together.

Very NICE!
I actually have a picture of him, sitting on the hood of my turbo T/A at Trans a rama in South Lake Taho circa 1981,I think..... Was at the VSE store/office in Monterey several times back in the day,as well. Always thought the Fire-am concept was a whole lot more REAL than the Macho T/A's....

I had the original Car Craft article on the 76 Fire Am, the black car.
I bought Corbeau seats for my car because of that. That's a very special car, much more impressive than the Macho TA's, IMHO. |

They were pretty much mail order cars that you built the way you want. You could buy just one thing or everything so they are not really numbered or recorded like Machos. This car has a stack of paperwork with it and oddly enough, not one receipt for the Fire Am stuff

Have a 1977 original print Fire-Am Herb Adams booklet if interested.
