Default 70-73 window moldings help

I am building a 70 Firebird after too many years of storage and installing the windshield and rear window moldings. Many moons ago ('09) I bought a set of "Corvex" brand rear window molding from YO. Last week I bought an OER brand front molding kit. Neither are made correctly to snap into the clips correctly. Looking at the profile of the parts they don't have the proper length of the "hook" side of the molding to grab the clip properly. My originals are straight just "polarized" from the California desert.

Does anyone reanodize the originals? Is there a set of repops worth using?

One place that does nice work on stripping, polishing and re-anodizing the aluminum trim.

These are polite ways of saying there isn't a reproduction piece out there worth buying?

Looks great, I think Ive used a bunch of the Corvex front and rear moldings and have never had a problem. You do need to remove those black strips or whatever they are in the moldings.

I recently bought a set of rear window moldings for my '70 TA from Classic Industries. They were from Corvex and the radius on the lower corners was incorrect. I returned them. I called Ames and they stated the pieces they sell are NOT from Corvex. That said I do not know the Ames source or if the fit is better or the same.

( Side note. UPS wanted $91 to ship the parts back to Classic Industries due to the box size. I contacted Classic about this and they then agreed to pay the shipping back )

I will try removing those plastic strips, I felt those were there to prevent the trim from wearing against the glass. I felt the curve of the "hook" wasn't a match for the OEM. Thanks for the tip!
