64 tempest post street strip. 95 percent complete.
new paint-arrow straight,no rust,original floors,trunk,sheet metal.light electric blue-$10k.
frame off.new bushings,front suspension,
strked 455.
oringed.
hardblocked.
head and main studs.
sfi balancer
sfi flexplate
aluminum water pump
ram air restorations underdrive pulleys
aluminum radiator-2 electric fans.
316cfm edelbrock heads
roller rockers
torker II
big hyro cam
hi flow fuel system
fuel cell
6 point legal roll cage
t-400--built right
3500 stall.
everything is new.
new dash bezel
new headliner
new weatherstrips
new door panels
back seat recoverd correctly
new package tray
nos tailights
polished stainless
recchromed back bumper
4 inch cowl hood
weld prostars.
car is VERY NICE.
engine break in time only.

needs carpet,rocker chrome,drip rail moldings and a rear end built.still has 2 series oem
10 bolt.
pictures this weekend.
cannot duplicate for the money.26k.thanks.car should go mid 10's.

UPDATE---just needs rear built.
new carpet installed
new 5 pt harness installed
new rocker chrome installed
new drip rail molding.
runs and drives good
less than 10 miles since built.

Not in the market at the moment, but that is a nice looking ride. '64 post is my favorite, and for me the cowl hood makes it. Good luck with your sale.

Do you know Walter? He has a real nice street/strip '64 Tempest also. See attached pic.

Has run some low 10's, will be DEEP into the 9's as soon as he gets the engine reinstalled. He's been held up waiting for a set of custom headers, and waiting, and waiting, and waiting . . .

sweet 64!!.i may have seen walter at the PSN'S a few times.i used to run a 67 lemans
years ago with floyd and the parkers.i've been outta comission since 2001 building this one..finally getting done and trying to sell...go figure lol...

recent updates.has 3.5 inch exhaust,950 quick fuel carb.made a few shakedown passes
in the 1/8,still with the open 10 bolt rear.with some lazy 2.00-2.30 60 foots,has ran
97 mph.should be good for 6's in the 1/8 and 10's in the 1/4.have added front bumper.
just needs rear and some tweaking.gotta go.....24k....

9-11-10 UPDATE!!!
this is up for sale as a complete car minus engine.engine has a lower end knock.
car has been completed and run about 30-40 times.
new moser 12 bolt 410 with 35 spline axles.
victor intake.
BMR arb.
opg 3 inch drop springs in rear.
coan 10 inch convertor.
drives straight.
60 foots have been upper 1.4's.still had a lot of tuning to go.
