I think its a good idea. I dont know much about how the mechanics of the board work but it seems like this wouldnt be that hard to add.

Im a reasonable guy so I dont mind when someone takes a day or two to get things to the post office. Im just a stickler for communication. I will usually be understanding as long as you update me as to whats going on.

I have a deal going right now with a guy 10 states away. Usually the seller ships after all money is paid and so far I have been paid a substantial amount with most of it paid months ago but he is paying as he can. We have been in contact and he keeps adding more parts and then recently bought a GTO project car from me. Now, shipping plans change as the parts will be packed inside the car for shipping rather than a pallet and his shipping costs for the pallet were converted to a payment towards the car itself. By the time he is done he will have sent all the money for everything. He does not seem worried at all, maybe because of my reputation or maybe because I have been easy to stay in contact with and sending pictures along the way. Nothing makes a buyer more nervous that no communication, trust me.

Communication is the key to having these deals work. When one party "disappears", or stops emailing, talking on the phone, for whatever reason, then situations happen.

What if someone is new to the forum, and doesn't have a feedback? Are you going to not deal with them?

Yep. Do a search in that forum with name of the member to see if you get a topic with feedback. Not everyone posts about how transactions go, so it's not fool proof.
