He should have also corrected the fact that the interior is not original, in his description...(or maybe that panels were dyed black???)

My mistake, it's not missing the data plate. I was mixing this Judge up with the black one. Sorry.

I think getmygoat had the missing data plate confused with the black 69 Judge on ebay.

This white 71 has all the tags intact. Only 16,000 original miles not much should be missing!

The interior thing is quite a puzzle. Those black door panels are front and back look original, and in good condition, just wrong for that car. Also, the headliner was changed too in a 16K car? Is the steering wheel wrong too? The Hurst automatic??

If you want to sell a low mileage high dollar car buy some repro seat covers and door panels that are correct, and spend the money on a new headliner...JMHO.

Here is a picture of what I'm talking about.

To be fair he mentions in description he has a Hurst shifter (not that it's original) but the interior (which I consider as being dash, seats, panels, headliner,etc..) are definately not all original..As for steering, that could have been swapped for various reasons..(I wouldn't have)..

I bet that paint scheme did cost a few duckets back in the day.

Wonder what this car will bring? Think it will break $60K? Assuming its all as described.

For me only the first time when he threw the high reserve out.

Assuming the car is #s I really thought this one would have done better as a "time capsule".

I think the election is scaring some people, at least in NC...

Spoke with him last week. A couple from New York bought it for 63K so I'm told. Told him if the deal fell apart to contact me. White 71 next to my white 70 would look cool.

Update: The guy who bought this car is looking at my Ram Air Breather on ebay right now and we have swapped some photos of our cars. He and his wife plan to restore it back to its original glory sans the 70's paint treatment. Nice guy - glad to see that it will be restored and is now in good hands.

My 71 Judge was shipped on Dec 22 1970 and has the 15" wheel option are there no other cars made before January that have been found that have this option?

b&g . . .

If you don't mind, I'd like to have a copy of your PHS invoice and / or build sheet for my records. I'm collecting all of the '71 & '72 455HO documents that I can get my hands on for a future database (registry) project. Your docs would be especially interesting considering it's a 12/70 build with 15" wheels.

My e-mail addy is bell-auto@comcast.net

If you send me your docs, rest assured that your info will not be released to anyone else without your permission.
