Default 71 T37 lap belts - no retractors?

I know this was the least expensive model at the time, but mine has no retractors for the lap belts. Just has belts bolted to the floor. Did they come that way? Its the same on the passenger side

'71 233 series came with standard seat belts (black web/black plastic faced buckles). No outboard retractors in this application after a certain date fairly early in model production. will have to check through factory paperwork for exact date.

If the '71 model 233 series was ordered with deluxe searbelts, the front belts had the retractors & color keyed belts. 0f my 233's, the HO Coupe was ordered w deluxe belts, the later built HO GT-37 has std black belts.

Roger, you really need to to get a hold of Rocky and write the 1968-72 "A" body book.

Just for the record, Dan's T-37 has a seat belt retractor just on the driver side with the standard belts (black).
