Default Head color.

Don't paint those heads blue

Make it all look aluminium!

To bad if you where in the 500 hp range it would have been fun to race my 70 against your on polyglass's. Looks like I would need a 200 shot to keep up with you.

chuck,i dont think it would matter.neither one of us would do anything more than sit and spin on those tires.anyway, when things hook-things break.tires are cheap!besides,if i was going to build it to race,i would have used my sd block.

I need to get some motivation to put my car back together. It would be fun to race a five against a 4. I put the polys on a few years ago and was surprised how decent they hook. From a roll your car should be a monster if you can get some traction.

Rejects? Seriously? Wow!

To me these are Pontiac's ZL1 - and even more rare since only a handful survived.

Greg,I just drive mine,it virtually nevers sees anything over 3000.After lots of diff applications and diff cams I settled on 236-242 as anything more was crap to drive with 3.55 gears and also the power brakes were a issue with the 252-260 cam I had in it at one time.As I said,I drive it for long stretches. Its just another friggin motor in my book.Tom

waiting for the block to get back from kre is killing me! i am not used to waiting.in my eyes, this thing should already be together and in the car.patience is a virtue that i DONT have!boss-tom s plays with it daily.i just play with the v stuff every few years.as soon as i get something to take pictures of,i will take some.my headers are being made next wednesday.got tired of looking, the guy that made them for the gold gto,is making them for the trans am.i have some raiv headers and the rav flanges.i have the raiv headers mocked up on the rav heads.maybe i will take some pictures of that for the picture junkies.will take some later today.

Guys, thought I'd mention that while perusing www.speedwaymotors.com I found under "clearance" Pontiac RA V exhaust gaskets for $9.00.
