Default Pypes for G8

Pypes needs a G8 to pattern a new exhaust system. Is there anyone in PA or near the office who could volunteer.

I'd check g8board.com which I believe is the most attended...

I was going to post there but they are funny about outside vendors. Maybe a very discreet post to help get us a Pypes product.

I have a G8 GT, and I live in York, Pa. What is it they need the car for? I sent them a message through their website, but have not gotten a response.

Hey Mac,

They need a car to use as a template for a exhaust system. Email Chris, he can give you the details. How do you like your car?

I love it! It's a nice addition to my stable. I have a 70 GTO as well as an 04 GTO. Thanks for the info. I will email Chris!

What's really baffling is that we also later installed a set of the Pypes Tri-Y headers on the car which eliminated the cats. I thought the car was going to be dreadfully loud and it barely got any louder. It defies everything we've ever tested exhaust on.

its usually the cam change that really wakes up the exhaust sound on these cars, in my experiences with LS powered cars

Pypes also changed the tips to a dual wall resonated style and the sound has improved dramatically. I can't believe how much the tips improved the sound out the back while not affecting the interior sound.
