Default Joe Bailon Custom 1975 Pontiac Astre Mini-Pickup

My father recently became incapacitated and the task has fallen to me as his Power of Attorney to sell off his property to fund his trust, to reduce his expenses and to make money in case he needs it.

In his possessions is a 1975 Pontiac Astre Mini-pickup. Pontiac didn't make an Astre Pick-up but rather it was a station wagon modified by car customer Joe Bailon (article included in the images). My dad used to tell me this was a rare car. I can't remember the number, but he said there may have been only 50 or 60 of them, and over time that number should have dwindled.

Alas, he allowed the car to decay into a terrible state: 3 popped tires, busted windshield, cracked upholstery and dash, dinged paint, and a bad case of Andromeda Strain (rust), including major rust damage behind the seats (I would guess the sun roof and back window are leaking). It has the original engine, so it wouldn't need to be smogged, but the thing hasn't been driven in nigh on 30 years and so it would need some serious work. There's no way it would run.

I cannot find any information about this car online. Even the article came from a magazine my dad had framed. The car is special... and yet it's also a disaster.

I wonder, does anyone on here have an idea of what this thing might be worth, and the best way/place to sell it?
