It looks like you do some pretty nice work. When you pop that hood at the drag strip or car show you will probably attract some attention.

WOW!!!! My friend had an L-79 327 / 350 HP powered 1966 that he bought new. The BIGGEST issue was the front suspension and the front brakes…junk!!! That subframe will fix those issues. It certain will be a eyeopener when done. Keep us posted. What other components are going into the build? Inquiring minds want to know.

Love it! That Pontiac torque will throw that Chevy 2 body around easily. And piss off people at the same time.

Thumbs up

Cool build. Looks like it is going to be a lot of fun when finished. Drive it around for a while with the hood off of it. Or get a clear hood and put on it.

Default Update

Finally back at it, but no rel update. A lot of mundane time consuming work to be done eg scraping & painting underbody, minor holes to wel up etc.

Default Another update

Wow, 5 1/2 years after last post and still not done. What a (retired) lazy bum I am. It needs bumpers and lights to be driven on roads. Still not even close to be done.

Would that explain why there are cacti in Thunder Bay Ontario?

(Build looks great, btw).

I see you caught that. The car and cacti are in my winter digs in AZ. Not there nearly as often as I like.

You need a Acadian grill to give it a Pontiac look. Nice job so far.

I like that idea. Since the car is a Canadian car, I am removing all the Chevy badging and present it as an Acadian.

If Canadian Pontiac could come with chevy engines, no reason a Canadian chevy shouldn't come with a Pontiac in it, Ehhh..............

I always wanted to build an Acadian with a Pontiac Engine for Nostalgia Super Stock but never could get it approved. Neat Build....
