Do production numbers by color exist for '69 Birds? Just seems like I see a heck of a lot of them that were carousel red. Great color on these cars, but not sure it can be justifiably called rare.

I've seen the 69 Camaro production numbers by color, but not for the Firebird. The fact that it was special order makes it rare. It looks like a nice base for car... the body work is where most of the money goes.

I wonder why it says may not ship to USA. Is it out of the country somewhere ?? Not a bad looking car. It looks like it was done pretty good.

Here's a 69 convert with a lot of options. Not sure what the reserve is, but the option list has almost all of the cool ones:

I didn't see where it had an option list?

A convertible 69 Bird is good no matter what engine it came with, though.

I doubt I'll ever try and buy another rare car and reproduce it as it came from the factory. I had a customer in the other day and he saw my Pontiac stuff on the wall. He brought in a picture book of his restoration on a 69 convert he did over 10 years ago and is long gone. I asked him what color it was originally, and his answer was he didn't care. He painted it blue with a black interior and white top... beautiful car. If I were to buy this car on eBay, it would be Springmist green with a light green interior and dark green top. When it's all said and done, if it doesn't have the born-with block or isn't a super rare car, the money isn't much different if you just built it like you'd want it. |

Good car to make the way you would order it in 69. Looks like a blue interior. I wonder what the original exterior color was?

Here's a 69 Firebird convert for $4K that may be worth it, but the note at the end of the ad states he also has a 69 Trans AM (pictured) with a donor car for $19K, though the T/A doesn't have its own ad.

I reluctantly have mine for sale. I have 2 young boys and too many toys it seems. I am letting the toys sit too much so this should allow me to concentrate on the Judge some more.

Hard to beat this 69 Hardtop 4-speed 400 car for BIN at $6.8K. It's a black plate California car which really reduces rust.
