Default 12 volt heater feed

I posted this under electrical also. Can anybody tell me where the voltage for the heater originates (fan etc) in a 1962 full size Pontiac? There is no fuse in the fuse box.

Should be a 14A fuse at the lower right of the fuse box just above the wiper fuse. Only hot with key on. Of course the switch may not be making contact or the speed controlling resistors may be bad or some of the connections may be loose.

From Service Manual:

Fuse at lower right above Wipers/Back-up lamps.

Thanks. That fuse on my fuse box is labelled "SPEEDO". I'll check the circuit and see if it goes to the heater.
