The Halloween parties, costumes are what people are planning right now. The invites have already been sent out. Its crazy but i think only christmas exceeds the spending amounts.

We’re in our third heat wave so far, temps to top 104 on Wednesday, pumpkins, bats and ghosts are the last thing on my mind LOL.

I was in Costco about 10 days ago and there was a lady with her two kids picking out costumes. Read somewhere that only Christmas spending exceeds Halloween now.

My son and I drove past a pumpkin patch that was getting set up today. When we passed again tonight, they had finished.

I think Halloween decorations are more elaborate than Christmas ones in the neighborhoods near me. Especially if you know the right streets to go to, the trick or treating is fantastic!

I don't think it's any more amazing than seeing a women in an auto parts store looking for a right rear axle air vent or looking for some fall air to replace the summer air in her tires....

I buy picture frames and have larger photos and other art work custom framed. They have a fairly decent man cave section. Their foam core works great for shipping old dealer posters.

80% of what's in the store has little interest to me. But that other 20% is good stuff.

Yeah I know that place has a lot of good stuff for everyone. I’m just teasing ya. I’m not really into crafts, but I find some good car repro things there, and like you picture frames, dowels, glass, photo albums, things I can actually use for things other than crafts.

And agreed I’m one of those Women in the automotive parts stores.

Halloween came to Target a few weeks ago.

The Halloween Capital of the World, Anoka, MN, is a constant reminder (as if I need it). And, in a related note, my cousin puts on http://crypticonminneapolis.com/ every year.

Not a problem, just an observation. Something you don’t expect to see on a 90 degree day, in a store still selling bathing suits.

Yeah I heard people complaining the other day how hot it is lately and how they cant wait for fall and winter. I wanted to smack them. I dont care how hot it is I have projects to get done. I would rather sweat in the summer time rather then shiver in the winter in the garage.
Speaking of Hobby Lobby and the mens department, my wife bought me this. Way cool
