Question Gettysburg Pontiac Show

Who went, and are there pictures? How was the judging done? Thinking about going next year. I didn’t see anything posted about this show.

I didn't know there was a Pontiac show in Gettysburg. Who put it on?

Now the SVGTO Club show was pretty good. I didn't take an pictures tho. I forgot. And we got wet too due to about 45 minutes of rain. After the cars were dried off they looked a lot better than they did when they arrived. LOL

GTOAA Regionals... nope. Vic was at the SVGTO Club show. Here's the head of this area's GTOAA shows. If there had been the GTOAA Regionals, I'd probably would have been the only one there at Herr's Park.

Had to be the SVGTO Club's show in Landisville at Herr's Park. As far as I know there was no Pontiac show in Gettysburg. And if you remember, I tried to get you and Mike to go to it.... in a PM.

Yes I remember you asking about that show, but I swear the message sent to me said Gettysburg. Hmmmmm I’m going to have to. Investigate this.

Thanks Gary!

As I said, Vic, the past President of the SVGTO Club, was at their show. He dropped out of being the President as he's the head of the GTOAA East Coast chapter too and didn't have the time to do both. We had quite a talk about that. So if there was a GTOAA show he wouldn't have been at the SVGTO show, as most of those at the SVGTO show wouldn't have been there either. Honest Injun MA.

Norwalk is amazing! Best of both worlds, racing, huge flea market and the car show.

The POCI Convention was held in Gettysburg the week of July 14th 2019. On the 16th and 17th of August 2019, the SVGTO Club hosted the GTOAA East Coast Nationals at Herrs Park in Landisville, Pa (near Lancaster). The SVGTO Club is now the host for the GTOAA East Coast Nationals. Next year, the SVGTO Club will host GTOAA East Coast Nationals at Herrs Park on August 14-15, 2020. Vic Schreck is the President of the GTOAA and Brian Little is the President of the SVGTO Club.

Geeeeeeze confusing having them all around the same time, but I would like to see some of the show participants. One thing I know is all of them are so far away from me, I don’t do well in the heat, with all the Leukemia meds, as well m6 car tends to run very HOT! Wish they’d have these Pontiac events in the cool fall months.

I agree. I dont like the heat, even though I work in it all day! I have bypassed a few shows this summer due to extreme heat. It would be nice to have some in Sept and October.

MA, it still may be a bit far for you, but there is a great all makes show coming up in Oxford, PA. Its called 'First Friday'. Will be on the first Friday in September. It starts in the afternoon and runs till dark. They close the entire town area off, show cars only lining all of the streets, they have several bands, lots of food, and games for the kids. Really a good night. I plan on being there, last year was rained out twice

There’s a few here in the fall that are pretty big, but once again the Pontiacs are few. An all Pontiac Show sure would be nice, when Pypes had their shows in June, I would even go when I was sick because I wanted to see all the really cool and nice Pontiacs that would come. A lot were members here so nice to put a face to a car, or a face to posts made here. I really miss that show!
