I also forgot to add getting a World Products or Bob Walla's aluminum 409 block with Carl McQuillen's Z-12(updated factory Z-11_ heads for the 64 Impala project. https://www.mcquilleneng.com/

But yeah, I'll have to watch that video from Koenigsegg later, but I do know GDI has some significant advantages over port injection. For one, since the fuel is atomized far better with direct injection, it's possible to utilize higher compression ratios much more safely. For example, a car with GDI can push the envelope on Compression Ratio up to 14:1 on pump gas while most other fuel delivery methods can't hack it past 11:1 before needing very high octane race fuel. It basically allows you to push higher compression ratios with pump gas level octane ratings more reliably. You can also go with say 10.5:1 compression and run 89 octane instead of say... 93.

Two different:
Pontiac: 1962 Tempest, add a 215 CID aluminum V-8 from a Buick, add a turbocharger from an Oldsmobile Jetfire, remove the "Rocket" decal from the air cleaner, print a "Tempest Twister" decal with a drawing of a tornado for the air cleaner, install reworked instruments from the Jetfire with Pontiac dials. Take it to the Pontiac Nationals with hood open, hide a tape recorder or maybe a digital camera somewhere under the hood, and walk away Non-Pontiac: Find the nicest 1961 Jaguar XK-E coupe white w/blue interior I could find, and buy it. Jon.
