Turn signal flasher 68 GP
Where is the turn signal flasher unit located? Pics would be appreciated if you have them. I know it seems to be under the dash somewhere, but I looked under there and couldn't find it. Also, it is the same unit as the hazard flasher, as in can they be swapped?

They may look different but they can be swapped. Did you look in the fuse box?

Not sure if the TS flasher is on the fuse box but I will check. The sound seems to come from the left side dash near the drivers door somewhere, but I just can't pin it down.

Many GM cars have then attached to the lower edge of the dash (on the back) and they are pushed into a clip to hold them.

Not a great picture, but it shows the flasher at the lower left of the steering column. It would artach to the lower edge of the dash by a clip that wrapped around the flasher.
