1974 Formula detailed stock engine pics
I am working on a 1974 Formula 400 with functional ram air, AC, PB, Auto trans.
I am looking for someone who would post some detailed engine pics of an original 1974 Formula 350, 400, or 455 with automatic trans. which shows the correct placement of the vaccum lines running to the carb and themostatic vaccum switch. I am specifically looking for the modulator valve metal line port and the charcoal canister vaccum ports on the carb. The thermostatic vaccum switch has 5 ports , 4 of which were all capped and the top port pointing up was connected to the vaccum lines on the air cleaner, when I got the car. Your help is much appreciated! Thank you, Tom |

Tom, I really don't have good pictures. But, the vacuum switch should be labeled somehow, either the metal or plastic versions. I did dig up these though, along with this link.

Yes, these pics were very helpful. Thought I had responded, however doesn't look like I did. Thank you Mike, very much for posting. They were exactly what I needed.
Sincerely, Tom Smith |
