Default Remove brake fluid smell from tools and toolbox

Old toolbox had spilled brake fluid and both it and the tools reek of brake fluid. Any ideas to get rid of the smell?

How big? simple green or something like it. Soap and water. Dry it out good. Maybe spray some of that car wax all around. Lube up drawer slides if it has them.

I have used wax and grease remover in the past with excellent results. Same product I use prior to painting a vehicle. Give that a try.
