Red 69 steering wheel help
If this is in the wrong place I apologize!
I pulled my wheel out to give it the acetone bath to remove the sticky nasty coating it has and realized am in need of the horn buttons and the wiring for the inside of my original steering wheel ( I guess I managed to lose the original stuff while moving), if anybody has these parts and are willing to sell them I would be interested in taking them off your hands. thank you

A bit off topic ... but I was just wondering, the acetone doesn't harm the finish??

I just did the acetone thing to mine 2 days in a row because it was awful sticky and it doesn't seem to if I got very aggressive it would show a little red on the cloth but after it sat for a day it was nice a dry to the touch no sticky at all

i toothbrushed a 1970 Sandlewood Wheel and it came up "like new".
Forget what i used but it really came up. Think there is a silver band on the perimeter and even that looked new. Use a toothbrush |
