I do not refer to Corvette under any circumstances with the exception of their owners. The Solstice was made by Saturn not Pontiac.

Are you certain of this?

[QUOTE= The Solstice was made by Saturn not Pontiac.[/QUOTE]

The Solstice was the baby of Bob Lutz at Pontiac. Saturn was given the go ahead to produce the Sky after all of the design and engineering was done.
Solstices were released in '06, Skys came out in '07.
All 4th gen F-bodies including convertibles were built at the St. Therese GM plant in Canada.

A convertible Challenger does look nice. But probably not done because of safety issues being brought up by who knows who at the top of the food chain.

At our local show last Sunday there was a new Challenger convertible built to match a '70???. Same color, sort of a rust red, same black interior. I think it was a father-son deal. Both cars looked good, parked next to each other they looked GREAT! I asked about the new one and was told that it was a company in FL. that did the conversion. It looked very professional.

Yes, the company that does them is out of Florida. As I recall its between 28 to 32 grand but would have to check again as sometimes pricing for customizing like this can go down as well as up depending on demand.
