'68 GTO Steering Wheel Restoration
Does anyone know of a good/reputable company or individual that can restore a '68 GTO Standard (Energy Absorbing) Steering Wheel? It matches the turquoise interior of the car.
The wheel has two horn buttons placed approximately between 9 and 10 o'clock and 2 and 3 o/clock. The horn buttons are also color matched. The wheel has cracks with wide gaps below the center cap and smaller ones on the outer diameter of the wheel. Wheel works just fine, but it would be nice to have a new looking original wheel. |

Koch's in California did a fine job on my '64 wheel. I'm not sure what a '68 wheel looks like. Maybe give them a call.

I eventually replaced it with a wood wheel. The black one decorates my garage wall.
