Default Deluxe Seat Back Chrome Trim

Has anyone tried the cheaper chrome trim/ piping for the 2nd Gen T/A with the Deluxe trim package/ seat backs? Seems like there are 2 options. The one in the $30 range and one in the $70 range. Not sure if the $30 one is worth it or crap. Re-doing my interior and replacing everything back and want to look good. No Care about looking factory exact if the cheaper one is a good alternative.

Thanks in advance.

Using my A body as an example. I'm assuming 2nd gen is the same.

The cheaper set uses glue to stay in place. Has a tendency to ooze out when subject to high temperatures.
The expensive set should have a lip on both edges that 'snaps' onto the original seatback.
