Dog dish hubcaps w or wo trim rings?
Finally decided to use my set of NOS 1960 (only) dog dish hubcaps on my 60. Was never able to generate much interest in my attempts to sell them so figured might as well give it a shot myself. Not sure whether I should add the thin 8 lug trim rings or not.

Those are nice, personally I wouldn't use the trim rings.

I like them better without the trim rings, but if you end up having wheel weights on the outer rim the rings may help camouflage them.

Thx for the comments. Weights are on the backside.

Another vote for no trim rings.

Without unless the wheels were a dark color. Then I would go with the rings.

No trim rings. They might squeak with the balance weights...
Frankly, I would just use chrome lug nuts with no caps.. That's what we used to run.. |

If you had a hub cap that didn't have the stamped ridges that reflect onto the trim rings then it would be ok. Since you don't, hub cap only.
