Console and Dash Cover Vinyl

I purchased bulk upholstery material to recover my gold console quite a while ago. I realized the new material is thicker than what I removed from the original console. Like it has an enforced backing, unlike the original console material that was pretty thin and could be formed more easily with heating, etc. Pretty sure this is the same thin material used to recover dashes also. Is this vinyl material available anywhere?
