Default Dash facia and surround

Hi All,
My auto electrician has pulled apart my dash to do some work on the electrics and I am putting it all back together. I need some advice please. There is the very thin aluminium strip that surrounds the brushed aluminium dash face but I don't know how it is held on to the wide metal strip that goes up into the dash pad. There are 6 holes in the dash insert and strip that line up with the 6 holes on the metal strip so something must go there.

I can't find any reference to it in the Classic Industries or Ames websites.

Any thoughts?

George

The black plate at the top of the bezel is riveted to the bezel.

Excellent. thanks very much. That explains why there were no screws or similar around.
