Default 67 Lemans Body Tag Accessory Code

I'm looking at a 67 Lemans. The Cowl/Body tags includes an accessory code I'm having a hard time with.

Can anyone give me more info on the code: 244395.

I'm also unsure what the "149" above the factory location is referring too.

I attached a pic for reference.

If you are able to help, where did you get the source information?

Thank you!

The 6 digit number is a Baltimore factory number which most aren't sure exactly what it means.
Some conjectures is that first 3 digits mean one thing and last 3 another.
(1st 3 for number on assembly line and last 3 date sequence or vice-versa or not at all)

Just used for bookkeeping probably.

The 149 not sure about, either.

Thank you for the info! That info really helps. I'm fairly new to all this, so just figuring thing out as I go along.

Is there a way to get info on all options for a specific vehicle other than going to PHS? I'd really like to bring this 67 back to original as much as possible but don't really want to spend $100 in advance of the purchase to see what was on the original invoice and I doubt the current owner will be okay with me doing a treasure hunt for a build sheet.

I will be inspecting casting, engine and head codes but without a build sheet it will be hard to determine what's original and what's not. It's all part of the fun!

Thanks again. Loving this forum!

Below the 223 (TR) is there a letter? Can't make it out if so.
There are sometimes letters down there for some options that would be from Fisher Body.

But PHS is about the only way to get the options other than the buildsheet.

EDIT: The cowl tag shows the color of car exterior and interior, the body number and plant built. Other than those what was said above.

I couldnt see any code under it on my first look, but there may be something there when I look at the pic. It's been painted over at least once so I may hit it with a wire brush when I look at it again on Monday.

PHS is really the only way to confrm options. I'm surprised that there is nothing under the 223 Interior code.
My '67 LeMans is loaded with options. Tilt, cruise control, AC, AM/FM, opera lights, power windows, etc. But under the interior code it's just a simple "G".

George Zapora from Vintage Vehicle Services
would say otherwise (at least when it comes to
cars originally sold in Canada)
