I can't bid on any of his stuff because I once told him that the set of RA II heads he had with January dates were not special developmental one-offs from January of 1968 like he had them listed but in fact Service Replacement heads from January of 69.

Lance didn't like that.

Probably not on topic, but it is a TA in ad.

Never noticed the TA option not being in numerical order like rest of the options?

But this one also seems to have some others out of sequence?

Ad says the car ships from Lamars Iowa...that doesn’t really put it in walking distance of of Ultimate Warrior...

I only see a few pictures and none of them very good. Seems silly unless he has pictures to send, or you go see the car in person.

I agree on that...plus lousy description, and that's a palace looks like a garage?

What am I missing?

I see from the ad answer, he does realize it lacks pix and description. Weather related before the ad posted.

Seems to be upset about the comments somewhere? But, it's a great car and needs to be displayed that way even on eBay.

Also being discussed in correct section...http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...d.php?t=812214

Did you miss the Judges in the pics ? That's why it's in this section too. And to a true Pontiac fan, that kind of iron does make it a palace of sorts, not just a garage. Don't be so literal.

Lance used to have a lot of RA V stuff too, including a couple of cars - not sure if he still does or not.

wouldn't the casting date contain a "9" - providing objective proof that the heads were produced in 1969?

It would but I think he decided there was enough casting flash to justify his description & story. The fact that NONE of the earlier heads had the 96 on the center ports and ALL of the SR 69 ones have a slice across the bottom of the 96 on the center ports had nothing to do with the argument.

It would be nice if the car cover could be removed.

Not sticking up for the guy because I do not even know him.

But I have bought a few items from him on Evil Bay in the past year without a problem.

I also seen him list this car a month or so ago with more photos and a good description. The photos he posted before showed the car apart and halfway through a restoration. He also mentioned all the NOS parts he used, like NOS 1/4's, and NOS parts that go with the car.
