Does anyone have an interchange on seatbelts my rag has lap belts in the front a retractor on the right wonce you clip in it won't let you out springy thing in there is toast. I have small buckels in the front large in the back is this a 72 only thing or what? I have tried clip out of 73 75 and 79 non of them will clip in what do I look for now should any 72 chevelle lemans or like car work or what

What you have is probably what I have, Deluxe Belts. Nothing is quite the same as far as inner spring. I have taken about a hundred belts apart looking for the clue. Nothing is the same as deluxe belts. You have to find a set and steal the springs from the whole set. the good news is you can use the spring from the regular belts if you clip the tail off with sharp side cutters. It works poorly( it holds too good because regular belt springs are longer)The spring is stiff but it does work. Looking for a couple of belt sets to gather springs myself..................till then the stiff one works.
