Default Vibration at 50 MPH

I have a 65 GTO with 389 & M-20. At 50 MPH I get a slight vibration that can be felt in the steering wheel. The car doesn't vibrate at any other speeds. The vibration is felt on deceleration. With the car in gear you feel the vibration while decelerating to 50 MPH. With the clutch disengaged you don't feel it on deceleration to 50 MPH. All U-joints are good & the drive shaft is in balance. I've tried turning the drive shaft 180 degrees at the pinion yoke and no difference. Any advice/help appreciated. Thank You.

Default Vibration

I had a vibration in a restored vehicle between 55 and around 62 mph. I had the drive shaft rebalanced along with new U-joints. I could notice the vibration and see it in my rear-view mirror. It wasn't a huge deal, just a nuisance.

A few months ago I had my differential totally gone through and the vibration went away.

I'm not sure what the problem was but it was cured with the bearings, seals, gears, carrier, etc.

Good Luck!
