Default Any Source for NEW GTO Power Steering Pump?

Yep, I can get a rebuilt one for my 68 GTO but I want a new p/s pump but everyone seems to be out of them. When I've bought rebuilt ones, they always seem to be dented. Probaly thrown in a tub until they get rebuilt.

Anyone know who sells brand new ones?

Are you wanting the pump and case or just the pump? Have you looked at AGR?

I want the pump and case in a stock pump.
Summit Racing canceled my order when the company who makes them, Lares, said they canceled it due to lack of inventory.

There are No stock core "shells".the issue is the return pipe routing. You can find new chrome ones with similar. But not exact. Best to buy a new one for a chevy , same year. And bend up your own return pipe, braze it on the case. You could use your original return line too

O'Reilly shows new Cardone with or without reservoir. Order without and use your reservoir.

I "rebuilt" mine myself a couple of years ago. It really wasn't difficult at all. Here is the seal kit. https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...350290&jsn=405 Unless it's acting up or showing any wear, it probably just needs seals. Mine had a little bit of sludge in it, but otherwise great condition. The instructions are in the shop manual.

Lares Corporation makes new PS pumps for our cars.

https://catalog.larescorp.com/select...yl%206.6L%20V/

I purchased mine through Rock Auto, along with the Lares quick ratio steering gear.

Lares just discontinued the 12055 part number, according to Summit Racing.

I don't know how handy you are, but the pumps a easy to rebuild. The parts can be gotten from rock auto and there a quite a few You tube videos on the subject.

According to Summit's website, the estimated ship date (if ordered today) for the 12055 is February 2nd.

I did the same thing with my '67 GTO ten years ago. Still leak free. And it's the original pump. With almost 255,000 miles on it. The kit was about $17 at the time. It took longer to remove and replace the pump on the car than it did to rebuild it.

Summit canceled my order saying Lares informed them they are out of inventory to create more of the 12055 pumps.
