Default WTB 1976 Q-Jet 17056261

Looking for a Q-Jet for a 76 TA 4-Speed. Must be 17056261. I already have one for an automatic.

Does not need to be rebuilt, but needs to at least be rebuildable or already functioning.

Not looking for show quality. Car is and will continue to be driven.

Thanks.

this may be of interest to you:

I have read of several original owner '76-455 T/A's which were supposed to have been built with the '263 carbs;
Although the '261 carb probably exists, it is worth noting that (iirc) '75-455 T/A's used the "400-4spd" '263 carb too.

Thanks unruhjonny. I haven't seen one yet either. Though, the one on my car now is the 17056264, so that's definitely wrong.

I looked into this last year - I actually thought I made a thread, but I myst be mistaken;
I bought a carb which was purported to have been the original carb off of a '76 455 TA;
it's a '263.

Default Carb

Dont have the 261 carb your looking for. Have a real nice 263 carb here that's available.
