Looks like it was salvaged from the ocean. Needs a new body and sounds like a new frame (notes below the ad). This is a a very expensive set of VIN and trim tags.

looks like a seaside car, rusted from the top down rather than bottom up like typical salt belt northeast car

Really unique colorscheme for a judge,

Somewhere out there a 70 LeMans is about to die for a higher calling but it doesn't know it yet.

There is something strangely compelling about the car as it sits. I think it’s that strange mix of rotten but also untouched original. If I had unlimited space and money I could see buying it and leaving it alone. Just to look at it.

Pretty unusual to see speed warning speedo on a GTO, especially a judge with a 4 speed. Wonder if the dealer ordered it by mistake?

I bought and then sold a 70 OO 4speed judge in about the same condition about 30 years ago. Untouched but totally rotten. I get about $3,000 way back then. The guy who bought it took the nose, the drivetrain, steering column (it had a wood wheel) and the tags, wing, interior etc.

Adjusted for today’s market it makes sense but it doesn’t then or now when you think what it will cost to complete a project like that.

I hope it gets "revived" - would be a nice looking color combo restored, and certainly unique.
I lived in SW Virginia for a number of years way back. Woodson Pontiac put a lot of nice muscle Pontiacs out on the streets. It's a shame this one had the misfortune of being taken northeast.

That thing's so rusty that the seatbelts have actually fallen through the floor and are lying on the ground.

Now I see that the build sheet has been posted on this thread. My question is does it really matter if this becomes a donor vin to a Lemans? Cant save all of them folks! May the buyer beware.

Delaware? Isn’t that where The Humbler was hiding out for years? Must be something in the water...definitely salt in the air and in the roads during winter.
