Cam
I have a stock cam that I took out of my car years ago, is this worth saving or should it be in the scrap pile? It has been sitting around for along time.

I probably wouldn't bother with it. But, out of curiosity, which grind is it?

That cam is still available new and is a really small cam. Not sure why anyone would want it...?

Put it in the for sale section for $20.00 plus freight, if its still good, it will sell, Pictures will tell if its good.

I cleaned my garage last winter and threw away 6, including a couple Lunatis.

They take up very little shelf room, so I would hang onto it just for the sake of checking out the fit of new Cam bearings that have been installed in a block.
This way you don't care if a lobe gets nicked up in that checking process!

Hell, if you just wanted to check the bearings, I'd take a grinder to the lobes to reduce the chances of nicking a bearing during the install for the check.
