No Beaumonts left the factory with 427.

Same style emblem as the 390 front fender badge, p/n C8AZ-16228-C used on the '68 Ford Galaxie.

The 427 was only used in the Galaxie thru '67, so I'm wondering if this is a "repro" emblem that looks like an original 390 emblem and made to substitute for it when swapping a 427 for an original 390 but is not a real Ford emblem?

Does it have a p/n on the back?

See attached pix, the back has the Ford script logo. Just guessing, but a repro emblem might be lacking the logo and p/n info on the back.

The last of the 427 engines apparently went into the '68 Cougar but the engine type fender badging used was entirely different. I'm no Ford expert but I found no evidence of a factory 427 emblem like yours.
