Anyone interested if I can find someone to make these. Have not started looking for person to make these so I have no idea on price. I imagine there could be a problem if they were made with the Judge emblem on them so if that is any kind of infringment then I would have them made without it and each person would put there own on.

I had one of these back in the late 60's and I have no idea where it went but I remember I wore it everywhere. It was not until 1973 that I got my first GTO and a few years later I had my very own Judge. I bought another that had been hit in the side for some parts I needed and sold it in the late 70's for $275 (kick myself, kick myself, kick myself). I now have moved on to my 68 Firebird but I still loved my Judge.

I saw one of these jackets go on eBay for over $300. I will be looking for someone or a mfg to make these.

Does anyone have an original jacket so I can get some dimensions off of it. The width of the reflective stripe, the length and postion of the pocket zippers, the width of the cuffs and buttons, etc etc etc

There is no link to a pic just a link to a post I put out there that no on responded to so I put it here to ciew. As of yet as I haven't even found anyone who will makes these on a limited basis. There has only been a couple of people who has chimed in so the prospects of getting a deal on a number of jacket is not good. I intend on having one made for myself and once I get a price I will let everyone know.

Kneese,

Keep me posted. I am sure between National GTOAA, and regional shows you could get 100 people.

I have sent out information to get prices and as soon as I do I will post it here and any details. The Judge emblem could be a problem for the vendor so they may have to be put on by the users. I will check that also.

Hey guys - I found this black and white picture in one of my books ("Pontiac GTO: Four Decades of Muscle", by Steve Statham). Can't see too much detail, but you can get an idea of the styling ...

Ok guys here is the scoop on the jacket that I got today.

1.) I am getting a swatch of the nylon from the vendor so I need to find someone with an original jacket to evaluate it. Any volunteers would be helpful. Would really be benifical to get a jacket to take to the mfg to MAKE SURE it is as exact as possible.

2.) They said they could match it exactly except for the snaps on the sleeves. I am going to talk to the vendor because these were just simple snaps.

The money part of it is based on this jacket with a liner. He will get a closer price but said without a liner it would be cheaper also.

1 Jacket - $115
2 to 10 Jackets - $105
10 to 50 - $80
50 to 100 - $65

Remember these are prices with a liner and no Judge emblem due to the fact that I do not want any copyright issues.

I just thought that I wanted to keep everyone up to date as possible.

The next step on the ordering side is to see how many people are interested and what should be charged for deposit, as I know the mfg is going to want something up front.

Thanks

Kirk

Any manufacturer will probably want 1/2 as deposit.

Do we have an outlet to purchase the Judge patches ?

Count me in.

Has anyone contacted GM legal about potentially licensing the use of "The Judge" trademark on the jacket?

Let me know if you'd like me to give it a shot.

Frank

I would love some help! From what I found out there is no problem with the jacket itself because it is just a jacket. Once the label goes on that is a different subject.

DOES ANYONE PERSONALLY KNOW MR. McKENZIE FROM "JUDGESCHAMBERS"? THIS ITEM WOULD BE A PERFECT FIT FOR HIS BUSINESS AND WOULD LOVE HIS INPUT.

This started because I used to have the jacket when I was MUCH younger. it is gone and I am not looking for a collectors item I want a jacket like it.

ANYONE WHO READS THIS POST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
URGENT NEED OF ORIGINAL JACKET OR PICS!!!!!
SEE BELOW!!!!!

To do this correct I need aN original jacket to take to the manufacturer or some HIGHLY detailed pics of every part of this jacket so it can be as close as possible. Buttons, pockets, cuffs, collar and stitching is part of what I need so those who get one can be proud of it.
Since my memory of my origianl is gone I really am having a problem as the pic that was posted here is different than the pic I got of one off of eBay (which I am going to post tonight).

I don't know if I can be of any help, but I can give you details of the jacket I have. The jackets were given to me from my Grandfather, who was a Pontiac dealer, and I was told that they were both promo items through the dealership. Has anyone seen another one like the one on the right. I have only seen other like the one on the left. The one the right is made by Louisville the one on the left Bonner.

GREAT NEWS FOR ALL THAT ARE INTERSTED

After I receive the swatch of cloth from the mfg I am going to meet with the wonderfull gentelman from GB and take measurements from the jacket and lots of detailed pics. I then will find the mfg that will make it exactly to specs as possible.

Hey anyone out there know where Bonner (the first mfg) was from? There was at one time a pattern for this thing.
