Default help needed looking at a 64 GTO

i am looking at a 64 gto convertable for sale, and i was hoping to get someone with the experience to be able to look at this auto, and give it an appraisal as to the correct numbers, (PHS info is available) and look over the car for it's condition, since i have basically no experience in this area, but would like to buy this GTO if it is real. The car is somewhere in Arkansas, and i am in Phila area. Is there anyone down in that area of this great big country that can do this, and has a good reputation - thanks, and any response is much appreciated - jeff g

I'm can't personally recommend them but here's someone: http://www.gtooc.com/index.html

Also, when I've been in this situation, I usually search the forums (you should search for Arkansas) and Classical Pontiac and send out a few emails/PMs. I bet you come up with a few members willing to help.

You could also post a "Need help in Arkansas" thread in the PY members helping members forum.

Jeff, I just saw this post. I've been real busy moving to a new home and haven't had much puter time lately. I live in Hot Springs, Ar. (central area), and would certainly help you if I can. If you will e-mail me some location info. I'll see if I can check it out for you.

P.S.....I can guarantee you I'll not buy it out from under you because my wife WILL kill me if I bring home another car

ctgross@msn.com (for a few more weeks until I get completely moved).
